Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains what Blockalysis collects and how it is used. We aim to collect as little as possible.
1. What we process
- Addresses you check. Cryptocurrency addresses and transaction hashes you submit are processed to produce a risk assessment and may be cached to speed up repeat lookups. These are public blockchain identifiers, not personal data we collect about you.
- Account data. If you create an account, we store your email and a hashed password. API keys are stored only as hashes.
- Operational logs. Standard request metadata (timestamp, IP, endpoint) for security, rate limiting and abuse prevention.
2. What we do not do
We do not sell personal data. We do not require KYC to run a free check. Shareable report links contain only the public address and its computed score.
3. Third parties
We rely on public blockchain data providers and sanctions sources (e.g. OFAC SDN) to generate results. Hosting and CDN providers process traffic on our behalf.
4. Data retention
Cached results and logs are retained only as long as needed for operation and security. You can request deletion of an account by emailing [email protected].
